• Increase membership and participation in VAME.
• Provide professional development opportunities for Marketing Educators through the annual VAME conference.
• Continue distributing the VAME Newsletter that provides vital information to Marketing Educators.
• Encourage VAME members to promote awareness of marketing programs and career and technical education in their local communities.
• Continue to build legislative connections and local networks in order to promote positive action affecting education initiatives.
• Encourage members to be politically active in support of the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Act.
• Maintain professional connection with VACTE (Virginia Association of Career an Technical Education)
• Encourage Virginia Marketing Educators to successfully complete the industry certification process in order to facilitate marketing student certification.
• Encourage VAME members to support the Virginia DECA Foundation.
• Provide money for annual student scholarships to the Virginia DECA Foundation.
• Improve communication with VAME members, and the public, through consistently updating the VAME website.
